Fashionable and stylish dresses always grabs attention of everybody. Women always wears those outfits which increases and enhances their beauty. Especially the selection of lehangas by the bridals for their big day is always difficult.

Neeta Lulla is one of those versatile designers who has something for everyone from fusion, contemporary, zardosi, vintage to modern bridal wear. She is one of Bollywood’s most famous costume designers and even has her own fashion school.She had recently launched a festive collection with simple silhouettes and appliqué work of kanjeevaramand kalamkari art work.

We also asked her about how brides have started opting for gowns for their wedding reception over traditional sarees and she said, “these days the look and feel of clothes is more comfortable, contemporary, chic, elegant and yet not cumbersome. So a lot of brides are opting for gowns which is probably because they look magnanimous and they are lighter in weight compared to lehengas.
 

Her latest bridal collection showcases an array of floor length anarkalis, gorgeous lehengas and traditional sarees perfect for the upcoming wedding season. The collection is a beautiful blend of heavily embellished weddinglehengas in shades of pink, orange, maroon and some embroidered silhouettes that can be worn for day time functions. Joining her at the store were Bollywood actresses, Sameera Reddy, Rhea Chakraborty and Shveta Salve.

Ever wondered how Malaika Arora Khan looks so glamorous?  I am sure you wish to know her beauty secrets. Malaika Arora Khan is one of those few Bollywood belles who glows without having to slap on too much of makeup.

she officially launched Marvie Ann Beck‘s beauty salon in Mumbai. She even shared some beauty secrets:

“I keep my daily beauty routine absolutely simple,” says this yummy mummy. “When I’m not working, there’s absolutely no gook or gunk on my face. I keep my skin absolutely clean. I follow the basic steps of literally cleanse, tone and moisturize. And that’s how it should always be, no matter what. Make sure you follow these three steps religiously. You must also follow a good diet, get loads of sleep, drink lots of water and don’t forget to use SPF when you’re in the sun,” adds Malaika.

Before consuming tea/ coffee in the day, Malaika starts her day with a warm glass of water with honey and lime. Her breakfast includes Porridge, upma, poha or idli because she believes eating everything in moderation is good for health.

Rohit Bal will design for Biba

A celebration of the upcoming festive season saw the fash frat come together and raise a toast to an association between a top-line designer and a major apparel retailer. Rohit Bal and BIBA have joined hands to design the BIBA by Rohit Bal collection.

At the mention of a prolific couturier like Rohit Bal, visions of romantic, flowy and elegant ensembles are easily evoked. So when we were invited to a preview of his new line for pret brand, Biba, our expectations of what he would show were pretty high.

Thankfully, we weren’t disappointed! Held at Li Bai at The Palladium Hotel in Mumbai, Rohit displayed almost twenty stunning ethnic ensembles from his first festive line for this brand.

“I am excited about the partnership that Biba and I have forged,” said Bal in a press statement. “India is a massive country, with many people who have wished to experience my designs. This is possibly the first of many such collections I will create for the brand.” .We were happy to note that Bal had incorporated many of his signature design elements – lotus flowers, anarkali styles, vibrant jewel tones and intricate embroidery.

With prices ranging from Rs.8000/- to a little over Rs.20,000/-, the Biba by Rohit Bal line is infinitely more affordable than his own label.

Govinda make his comeback on the big screen with Release of His Own Music Album

Govinda make his comeback on the big screen with Release of His Own Music Album, the dancing maestro, who is best at comedy and skilled in acting – a virtuoso of Bollywood trade is away from entertainment scene since quite some time. But the veteran actor has pulled the socks up to make his entry into the scene once again with gusto. Yes, Govinda now will be seen on screen. Yup, you read right: we’ve been waiting to see Govinda make his comeback on the big screen.

Reports suggest that the actor is returning with his own music album, and is supposed to release two singles very soon. He had a music stint back in 1998, when he released a pop album, and now he’s planning on taking that forward – in fact, if this album is well-received, then Govinda says he’s open to continuing with a singing career.

The first two singles to be released are Gori Tere Naina Sapne Main Aaya, which has Rajasthani elements, and Pinto Party Da Mood, an upbeat party song.

The best thing about this musical album is that Govinda has written and rendered the songs. Govinda will be featured along with Puja Banerjee of Devon Mein Dev Mahadev fame. She is famous for her character of Parvati in the show. Mangal Tara and TV Films have produced this music album of Govinda.

About this album, Govinda says that the album carries his own flavor, as there is Navrati and party song found in it. He goes on mentioning that Navrati festival is going on, thus it is the best time to launch this soundtrack.

Over the weekend in Mumbai, pretty Alia Bhatt was the star attraction at two different events. pink or blue? Long or short? Which Look Suits Alia Bhatt the Best?

Fashion Designer Natasha Dalal, aged 25, launched her label “Natasha Dalal” at event gallery Ave 29 on 5th October, 2013, with actress Alia Bhatt and Laila Lamba in attendance to support her. Alia Bhatt wore an outfit by Designer Natasha Dalal to the event. She believes in Natasha’s line as Natasha understands exactly what this young generation is looking for and her outfits are chic, affordable and easy to wear.

To the launch of a new line of products by a makeup brand, Alia was styled (byEsha Amin) in a blue jumpsuit from Gauri & Nainika. She also wore hot pink heels from Top Shop and a Givenchy cuff from Viange.

Alia Bhatt and Laila Lamba walked around Ave 29 and went through the Fall Winter Collection, 2013.

While we like the Gauri & Nainika jumpsuit, we have issues with the huge, hastily tacked hemline at the bottom which is visibly skewed. On the other hand, the pink dress is a bit too short and shows off too much of her thighs.

The event was aimed at unveiling young and aspiring fashionistas, and to assist them to come into their own"stylishly. The evening saw amazing performances by Illuminati dance troupe. Stand-up comedian Rohan Joshi had everyone in splits and Usha Uthup brought the house down with her amazing vocal skills. Our esteemed panellists consisted of actor Jaqueline Fernandes, director Abhishek Kapoor, actor Yami Gautam.

Yami Gautam was one of the judges at the Femina Style Diva Contest that took place in Pune. Before walking the red carpet in a sequined strapless Natasha Dalal dress for the main event .The actress wore a maxi dress by Atsu Sekhose from his summer/resort collection. The dress had a chevron print skirt and an orange bodice. Her only accessory was a House of Chic by Junali Sutariya bracelet. Her hair was swept back into a ponytail.

Kangana Ranaut graces the cover of the latest issue of Cineblitz magazine. Krrish 3 girl Kangana Ranaut is the new daring fashion icon of Bollywood. Kangana has become the talk of the town with her experimental fashion choices and glam quotient. 

The superwoman Kaya of the upcoming Hritikh Roshan starrer Krrish 3, Kangana Ranaut features on the cover of Cineblitz magazine’s October issue.She unveiled the Cineblitz cover showing her in a sexy black attire carefully hiding her essentials and pulling the attention to her assets. For the cover page, Kangana has sported her "Krrish 3" evil look and is stunning in her black attire with shiny printed pants and smoky eye makeup.

At the unveiling of the cover, she was spotted wearing a Burberry engineered body silk crepe dress in red. Although the colour looked good on her, the mesh panel did not seem to be very flattering for her cleavage. The geometric pleats of the dress are not-so-well engineered for her body-type. She carried a pinky beige Lady Dior bag from their Cruise 2013 Collection and Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle Plato’ patent leather platform pumps finished her look.
